The Phantom Effect on your phone or Ipad

The Effect

Your spectator selects a card from a deck containing the names of 52 celebrities. They remember their chosen celebrity and the card is really lost back in to the deck. You now explain that you have a hidden talent, that of a psychic artist and if they concentrate hard enough you will be able to channel their thoughts and draw a perfect image of the chosen celebrity onto your phone using nothing more than your finger!

After a few seconds of intense sketching you stop and confirm that you have created a perfect image of the celebrity.  You ask the name of the celebrity and proudly turn your phone around to display what could only be described as a child's drawing! It bares no resemblance to the chosen celebrity. This will get tons of laughs and this is setting them up for a very magical moment. You turn the phone back down as you admit you're a far better magician than you are an artist. You wave your hand over the phone and when it is turned back around the child like drawing has now changed to a perfect drawing of the thought of celebrity!

Resemblance does not use a special magic app and may be performed on iPhone or Android.
